Let Us Show You The Best of Italy!

Born and raised in Sacramento, California, Sandra Legarizzi is a first-generation Italian American with roots in the Lombardy and Veneto regions of Italy. 

She graduated from the University of California at Davis, with a degree in Biological Sciences and received her medical degree in Italy at the University of Padova Medical School.  Her work experiences include public health, medical research and teaching. Of particular interest to her is studying the national differences between healthcare in the United States and Italy. 

Sandra is fluent in Italian and possesses extensive travel experience to Italy. In her free time she enjoys whipping up delicacies in the kitchen with her family, figure skating and doing crafts with her daughter and pursuing all things home and garden. 

She considers the creation of Grapes and Gondolas her little dream project to vent her creativity and share with others her knowledge and passion for all things Italian.

Sandra currently lives with her husband and daughter in Sacramento, California.

Giuseppe Schettini was born in a small village in the Basilicata region of Southern Italy, surrounded by the Lucanian Apennines and near the Tyrrhenian Sea. 

He moved to Rome at the age of 20 to pursue his university studies and soon after found employment as a flight attendant for the Italian airlines. In 2009, he moved to the U.S. where he continues his work in the airline industry. 

Giuseppe is an experienced and savvy world traveler who specializes in organizing trips for  individuals and groups. His passion is in the classics, especially Italian Medieval and Renaissance art. 

He is fluent in English, Italian and French, and his Spanish isn’t bad either. He travels frequently to Italy to see his mom. 

In his free time Giuseppe enjoys cooking and hosting Italian dinners for friends and learning the ancient art of falconry.

Currently Giuseppe resides in Sacramento, California with his wife and daughter.
